OMIGOSH PEEPOLE CALM DOWN1/!!!!
Good start
Could benefit from the timing getting tuned up a bit (actions could have been sped up a bit, perhaps a few more frames to smooth it out and some implied motion here and there), but the art is decent. Composition was good. Sound effects were a little sparse. Some background ambiance would tie it together well.
It's like adult swim...
...except animated better and not as funny.
The core of a decent platformer is having amazing controls and then applying them to a difficult stage layout. This game has extremely sub par controls, and introduces its challenge by making a stage that shouldn't from a layout perspective be incredibly challenging, but is damn near impossible due to the incredibly lacking control scheme. That is not how you make a good platformer. 1.5 stars for decent pixel art and background setting, but the control scheme makes this pretty much unplayable, so that doesn't really carry much weight.
There is no realistic reason to use the mouse for attacks in this game. You could have made the space key the attack button and had turn attacks be back+attack and it would have been the exact same thing except easier to control and controllable with one hand. I don't know why devs feel compelled to keep using mouse input for games like this, but it's pretty much just alienating a large portion of your audience that does not have an actual mouse for no particularly good reason. If this was a shooter it would sort of make sense, but otherwise it is just a poor design choice. If this had better controls you would have gotten a much higher rating.
there will be a projectile that allows you to target via mouse and a teleport skill that teleports you to the desired screen position.
Needs work. Precision jumping was very difficult to control, which in the case of a game that only allows you to walk and jump, is completely unacceptable.
