The core of a decent platformer is having amazing controls and then applying them to a difficult stage layout. This game has extremely sub par controls, and introduces its challenge by making a stage that shouldn't from a layout perspective be incredibly challenging, but is damn near impossible due to the incredibly lacking control scheme. That is not how you make a good platformer. 1.5 stars for decent pixel art and background setting, but the control scheme makes this pretty much unplayable, so that doesn't really carry much weight.

There is no realistic reason to use the mouse for attacks in this game. You could have made the space key the attack button and had turn attacks be back+attack and it would have been the exact same thing except easier to control and controllable with one hand. I don't know why devs feel compelled to keep using mouse input for games like this, but it's pretty much just alienating a large portion of your audience that does not have an actual mouse for no particularly good reason. If this was a shooter it would sort of make sense, but otherwise it is just a poor design choice. If this had better controls you would have gotten a much higher rating.

there will be a projectile that allows you to target via mouse and a teleport skill that teleports you to the desired screen position.

Needs work. Precision jumping was very difficult to control, which in the case of a game that only allows you to walk and jump, is completely unacceptable.

I found this to be extremely frustrating in a very un-fun kind of way. Would not play again. The difficulty is not even because the stages are challenging. It's because the game just straight screws you for no apparent reason frequently. That isn't a fun kind of hard.

I really wanted to write a five star review for this, but there is an issue with the controls locking up, particularly the right button for some reason. Otherwise amazing.

Arrow keys are nonresponsive on stage start, frequently leading to unnecessary loss of lives as the zombie hits you before you can even move. Hit box on people is poor also. Some transition between stage and map would be nice. Needs work.

Don't be fooled by the graphics, this game is horrible. If you really want a reason to get angry at nothing by all means play, but otherwise don't waste your time.

To the dev: Less ad spam and a preview of the course before teeing off might make it salvageable. Also the fish is way too bouncy. Take that down a notch.

Got too laggy on stage 30 to continue but decent.

Good

It got too laggy to play around lv 35 or so (even on low graphics setting), but otherwise it was good.

...that this will be on the front page soon. Even better than the first one!!
